It's annoying that whenever there is a new version, if one chooses to get it, old version gets erased, it should at least be renamed as adwcleaner.bak in case downloading of newer version fails (or doesn't work in winxp anymore as it happen to be my case). So now I don't have either version.

Still have same problem.
I see that you update adwcleaner at 5.030 version but still no escape from redirect to newpoptab.
Today I will try to reinstall firefox; if the adware will disappear, I will inform you.

Hello, so today I did a scan in my own computer and found out AdwCleaner considers the Google Input Tools browser extension (mclkkofklkfljcocdinagocijmpgbhab) a Malware/PUP.

J'ai tenté.
Non seulement il ne fonctionne pas, mais détruit des "clés de registre" indispensables!!
Je n'ai du mon salut que grace à une sauvergarde du dit registre et une nuit sans sommeil!
