Re: Download and 3rd party providers

Hello,

Yes, as a remind the only valid link for AdwCleaner is the one on https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/ which is this page: https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/

Any other page is not considered as legit.

Regarding the issue, it's not related to any installation process (AdwCleaner doesn't install anything), and it's fixed in the v7.0.1.0 betas that you can find...

Re: Download and 3rd party providers

Hello,

  • Do you have some more details about these "install failures"?
  • About 3rd party providers, do you have some names or links?

Thanks.

Download and 3rd party providers

Just was curious, I have seen some people having issues with downloads and installs when it comes to beta and normal versions. I wonder if they are downloading through some form of 3rd party provider? Or can the installs fail for some reason? Maybe system configuration?

Re: PUP.Legacy.Optional - 3 Threats Identified

Well.... My previous solution in Windows "Safe mode with networking" should help you out if you haven't done that. Alternatively, you could try using RKill to kill malicious software first. Then remove the identified files manually, afterward do a thorough scan with Malwarebytes, AdwCleaner, and HitmanPro. This should definitely yield some results.

If MMO's have their anti-cheat in form of "Pando", it might interact with files at the system level, which AdwCleaner could deem treating a very normal reaction. Keep in mind that different malware removal software targets malicious software different ways. While one anti-malware so...
