Can you tick the option "Activate the debug mode" before clicking on "Clean" ? Then, you should get a logfile in C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner_dbg_xxxxxx.log - can you copy/paste it here when it freezes ?

I'm not able to run Adwcleaner.  I just get the message "adwcleaner database could not be loaded" and it shuts down, also in debug mode and running as administrator.

After using AdwCleaner and losing the network connection, can you open a browser and copy/paste the line below to the adressbar to see if you can reach it ?
