MPC Cleaner has been classified as a PUP since its behaviour is discutable (for instance here - in French only..).
Since they have updated their software to fix some issues, we might reconsider the detection.

it found ramnit b y avira antivirus and ESET Nod... so 3 anti virus programs found that virus... so deleted adwcleaner 5.03 and wont run it till later...it could be a false positive but seeing the result better be safe than sorry... my inkling is that it is a fale positive anyhow will look at it later and run herdprotect as you regularly update adw... thanks and regards

latest result... malwarebytes scan ok...no detection.... did run reason again and yes detected ramnit... decided to click on ignore...and yes adw opened up and ran a scan...deleted adw manually and uninstalled reason core..downloaded adw again and it opened up and ran a scan with no problem... so this might be a false positive...for added safety I will run trend micro housecall later on and ...
I just d/l the adwcleaner step 1 with no issues and i notices there's a bunch more steps. Are they necessary? I only have Windows Defender that comes with windows 10. Obviously i wouldn't do steps that say optional or for apple when i have a hp but the other ones that say hitman pro for example. A small window popped up after the scan saying to enable detection of PUPs on adware...where do i do...

Vous me confirmer que ce sujet et celui-ci concernent la même machine ?
Si oui, on va traiter les deux sujets ici.
- Pour AdwCleaner, le scan se déroule sans problème apparent : le rapport est entier et les détections normales..
- À première vue, rien qui ne puisse causer une coupure réseau dans le rapport ZHPDiag.
Pouvez-vous relancer AdwCleaner et effectuer un nettoyage ? Comme ...
