problem by using 7.0.1.0
the scan works well, but the cleaning tool ==> crash

Does not work! It stops / freezes with the same pop up window saying "caught". I tried the older version immediately after and it worked fine. Then went back and tried the newest version again....but it failed agan.

Can you share the debug logfile? (click on Tools > Options > tick Debug and do a scan/clean to trigger the bug. Then, share the file...
Could you define the nature of the pop-up? Is it in the browser? On the desktop? through certain applications? When did the issue start happening? (Please answer these before continuing the read)

Same problem and same message : "*** Caught unhandled unknown exception, terminating."
Activating Debug from Tools menu does not solve anything.
I cannot even close the message of error, the close button is grey, so I have to close adwcleaner via Task Manager.
