Re: Error message: This app can't run on your PC,

Hello,

Hm, it's really strange.

Do you have the same issue with any other applications ?

May you try a check with MBAM first since it may be malicious:

  • Download MalwareBytes Anti Malware here.
  • Launch MalwareByte's Anti Malware from your desktop
  • Click on the tab Settings -> Detection & Protection -> PUP/PUM and check "Treat these detections like malware".
  • Tab Exam choose Threats, click on...

Re: unstopz.biz

Hello,

Great ! Thanks for your patience.

So, to conclude, if the computer seems stable, please proceed below. Otherwise, don't do the following instructions but telle me what's wrong.

We'll remove all the used tools :

  • Download DelFix from Xplode on your desktop.
  • Launch it with administrator rights.
  • Select all the option except the one proposing to save the registry.
  • Then click on the "Ex...

Re: unstopz.biz

Ok, it's better.

  1. Can you relaunch AdwCleaner and do a scan ? Then, share the generated logfile
  2. Download the file fixlist.txt and save it as "fixlist.txt" to the Desktop or where FRST is located.

NOTE. It's important that both files, FRST/FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that partic...

Re: Adwcleaner cannot remove bsdriver.sys and cherimoya.sys

Hello,

Ok. I think that AdwCleaner has cleaned most of the elements I found in the FRST log since it has been created before, but we'll see what it gives:

  • Download the file fixlist.txt and save it as "fixlist.txt" to the Desktop or where FRST is located.

NOTE. It's important that both files, FRST/FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

Re: AdwCleaner deletes some file but it reappears after Windows start-up

Ok, I read another set of comments somewhere on your forum with someone with the exact same issue.  The problem is IObit Unistaller which your software is reading as questionable.  Once you erase the key, IObit just reinstalls it.  I deleted IObit and the problem went away.  Interestly, the IObit Advanced System Care 10 product does not seem to cause any problems- just the Unistaller portion.  ...

Re: I can no longer login on Windows 10 after running Adwcleaner

It was connected to the internet before this problem, but now that you mention it, it is not connected to the wifi anymore, and it cant detect any networks either.  I've also tried using a direct ethernet connection to no avail.  How weird.  None of my Google searches are bringing up anything useful other than to reset Windows 10.  I think I will have to bite the bullet and reinstall Windows an...

Re: I can no longer login on Windows 10 after running Adwcleaner

I tried already, it gives me the same screen either way when I try to log in:

Click image for larger version.   Name: other user.jpg  Views: 1  Size: 32.4 KB  ID: 66261

It then will restart after about 30 seconds automatically.  I may have to try reinstalling Windows it seems.. :/

Adwcleaner detecting Appdata/Local/CEF

on AdwCleaner by ****

After adwcleaner detected the CEF folder, I did some research to see what it was and could only find a single topic on it from the Malwarebytes. An elite member stated that the CEF folder is created by Steam. As it was only one person who claimed so, I decided to let Adwcleaner quarantine it and then I uninstalled adwcleaner. After restarting my PC, I ran Junkware and it only detected the harml...
