I am not sure, but I think there is a library of legacy Adwcleaner installations for older software if the new ones do not work. I just looked at compatibilities for the newest version, it appears that it should work with WinXP. What issues are you experiencing?

There are a lot of customers who still use XP specially in the third world where upgrades are not so cheap, and they refuse to update whats working.

Yep, all fixed - thanks very much.  SpywareBlaster (SWB) updates its data base about every two weeks.  Can you tell me if the fix was such that it will no longer generally report SWBs preventative measures?  I fully accept that the odd false positive can happen but the quantity had become very high of late.

Browsing old threads and safe to say, that Locky won't be decryptable for quite some time. Considering that new versions of it are coming out, making it even more complicated to do anything. You can read more on Malwarebytes and The Hacker News. Even Kaspersky's attempts at that have failed. Hopefully, we can have the master key somehow, or a lucky break in decryption. It would be nice wouldn't it? I am solving this myself, by uninstalling AdwCleaner and not recommending it to those requesting help on a forum where I am a mod. Too bad, very good tool, one of the best for removing PUP's but not going to sacrifice SpywareBlaster's ability to block them so ...

Interesting development. Thanks for the logs, as expected they are clean. Successful removal could indicate that Adwcleaner stopped the threat further or was a false positive. Honestly, everything related to Yahoo is a massive security hole for me, and I would avoid it as much as possible.
