What criterias are you targeting Advanced System Care for more specificly? Their programs have saved my and my friends computers several times. It feels like there must be a reason for this? • Download AdwCleaner from this page: https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/
• Execute it, then read the EULA and click on "I agree" if you agree it.
• Click on [Scan] and wait until it ends.
• When the scan is over, click on [Logfile]. Go to the "Scan" tab and open the first logfile (it should be in blue) by a double click on it.
• Copy/Paste it in your answer.

I figure by now you probably have figured it out, but I came across this when I was still looking for answers.  3 hours later I was finally free of that crap. 

I basically ran malwarebytes (I turned on search for rootkits under settings just to be sure), AdwCleaner, HitmanPro until nothing was found before finally removing google chrome completely.  And the real problem was that the url redire...

AdwCleaner only targets the following type of malware:

• Adware (ads software)
• PUP/LPI (Potentially Undesirable Program)
• Toolbars
• Hijacker (Hijack of the browser's homepage)

Also, the next major version of AdwCleaner (v7) will be much more powerful against them.

If you have some more informations about new forms of Adware, PUP, .. we would be glad to get your detailed feedback!
