Adware 7.0.2.0 Beta 3 Still crashing Win 7

After download & install, I checked debug. Upon launch, a message said this was outdated version, and asked if I wanted a newer version. I said OK. Still crashed.

Thank I returned and downloaded the "updated" version, which was the same, but this time said no to a newer version. It will not go beyond heuristics analysis. Here's the error message.

Re: extansion .no_more_ransom

Future here! Hopefully, you will be able to understand this in English. Decided, to surf some older posts and add some information to what we now know. 2 Vendors currently have a decryptor for it as part of the "No More Ransom" project (Not related to this extension, this extension is just mocking). You can find Kaspersky's and McAfee's versions respectively. Additionally, you can read more abo...

Re: More false positives

Yesterday the Windows 10 machine from my wife was scanned by 7.0.1.0 and referred Zylom games and TryMedia as suspicious. Removal of it all led to no gaming anymore because these files (and dirs) are apearently necessary to run and check validation of the Zylom Games. Such a shame because a noob does not understand that.

Re: Start\Windows icon

Well, plenty of work there, Josh! I've done virtually them all including Hitman Pro,MBAM, AdwCleaner, CCleaner but no change in anything, still same problem with the Start icon. Just can't wonder what I've done. Oh, and System Restore hasn't worked for months in my Win 10 so downloaded and was using Restore Point Creator which was better, but that nearly alway fails to work. Reformatting is a b...

Re: Win10PESE startup

Thanks for your reply.

Not sure I understand the relevance of  HDD speed. And anyway my disk boot times are OK. Also I don't have a WinXP ISO but a Windows XP system. And no VM is involved.

Maybe I wasn't clear.

I have a Windows XP system and two 8TB disk drives which XP doesn't support. To solve this problem I got the Win10PESE ISO from ToolsLib, burned it to DVD and booted from that DVD (w...

Re: Win10PESE startup

It all depends on the rig. HDD's are not known to be the fastest at boot times, especially if the system is Windows XP, quite a legacy system right now. Not really sure. If you PC specs are good, then you shouldn't have such long boot times, unless your HDD's are really slow. Did you notice anything else during the boot? Is your WinXP iso image clean? If you got it from a third party, I wouldn'...
