With new version I am getting a folder C:user\Ed\AppData\Local\Steam\htmlcache  . This is a temp folder so I delete the folder an all files in it and still when steam runs again it comes up . I then delete everything in it and still get error below .

Hier soir, après insertion d'une vieille clé usb dans mon portable fraichement remis à neuf (drivers et soft up to date) mon wifi et mon antivirus se sont fait shooté. L'antivirus en question est antivir. Je tourne sur win7. J'ai tenté le scan en ligne (la connexion en hotspot USB fonctionne) ne donne rien et le live USB non plus. Can you tell me if it works when you click on "Options" -> "Use local database" then run a scan ? Prior to that, uninstall AdwCleaner.

If this works, I think it's a network issue when downloading the database from Toolslib's server.

Just bumped into this issue while trying to run Adw onto my W8.1 machine.

- tried to do as error message say deleted al the versions I found in my machine

- tried to run again I always get the same error

Ok. It should be fixed with MBAM :

• Download MalwareBytes Anti Malware here.
• Launch MalwareByte's Anti Malware from your desktop
• Click on the tab Settings -> Detection & Protection -> PUP/PUM and check "Treat these detections like malware".
• Tab Exam choose Threats, click on Scan now, and click on Launch the exam.
