Re: Unable to get rid of a file through AdwCleaner

Hello,

Sorry for the delay.

We'll use FRST to remove the remaining stuff:

Download fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop (with the name "fixlist.txt")

NOTE. It's important that both files, FRST/FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

UPDATE:did a Malwarebytes and Hitman scan. Neither of them found anything.

Re: no way to contact adsfix. no email, not website

hello like I said in the mail :

I Judge Iobit Products Like Obsoletes

ex :

SmartDefrag : useless since windows 7 because the system does it itself alone when necessary ( and I add now : even if a noob doesn't know that , it makes double employment , the disk is used two times more speed )

Advanced System Care : useless  cause it doesn 't detect anything Like Malware ( use Malwar...

Re: WIE Chromium, Shark700 entfernen, löschen

Hallo schweriner,

wurde Chromium ungewollt/unbewusst auf deinem Computer installiert?

Weiß du evtl. mit welchem anderen Programm es mit installiert wurde?

Benötigst du Hilfe bei der Entfernung?

@ cocochepeau

During the last weeks, I noticed some users that were infected with different PUPs or Adware and Chromium was installed silently, unwanted and automatically on those computers as...

Re: Adwcleaner deleted legitimate programs!!!!!

Hi,

Now it will delete programs such as Auslogics disk defrag and Wise disk cleaner. THIS ARE 100% LEGITIMATE, CLEAN and useful programs.

AdwCleaner is part of MBAM-family and thus gets tougher on PUPs:

Adwcleaner deleted legitimate programs!!!!!

Hi!

This has been bothering me for a while. Adwcleaner has been deleting legitimate programs for quite some time now. But it got worse with the latest version. Now it will delete programs such as Auslogics disk defrag and Wise disk cleaner. THIS ARE 100% LEGITIMATE, CLEAN and useful programs. Yes they try to install some crap upon installation, but you can easily opt-out and end up with a C...

Re: Browser threats detection by Adwcleaner

As I said I don't download files, and yes they appear almost every time I run this program, even though they were deleted earlier. I have even ran other malware programs but they do not find any signs of f.ex. Softonic.

I have even tried two scans but the second scan doesn't show them, but after sometime I run it they come back in the result.

Re: Browser threats detection by Adwcleaner

Greetings,

These detections are related to search providers. They are appearing when installing software downloaded through Softonic or other download sites that provides repacks/bundle.

According to this logfile, they have been deleted successfully. Are they still reappearing when you launch two scan/clean in a row?

Regards.
