Well, ADWCleaner wins.  I did another check and found a series of PUPs that were not present before I installed Reimage Repair.  Now I've got to try to find another program that will work as well as Reimage Repair did.  It really did fix a lot of problems.  Of course, trying to infect my system with PUPs and adware doesn't endear the program to me.

I don't know why, but every time I run ADWCleaner it wants to remove Reimage Repair.  I don't want this removed.  

Can anyone tell me why ADWCleaner wants to?

Do you have the same issue with any other applications ?

May you try a check with MBAM first since it may be malicious:

• Download MalwareBytes Anti Malware here.
• Launch MalwareByte's Anti Malware from your desktop
• Click on the tab Settings -> Detection & Protection -> PUP/PUM and check "Treat these detections like malware".

ADWCleaner removed some bad stuffs from my PC... and, even though I've run and cleaned at least 6 times, this is still on my PC - have no idea what it is or what it does? HKCU\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\ext\stats Or, where to find it to remove manually??? Thanks for your help Karen
