Thank you so much Xplode, fr33tux and the AdwCleaner team.
This version is perfect, database downloads, scan completed and as a bonus it was clean!
Thanks again on behalf of all legacy hardware users.
Hello,
Yes, a few of them are checked :
Please refer to the documentation : https://toolslib.net/forum/viewthread/182-en-adwcleaner-documentation/
Best regards,
Are any particular options pre-checked when ADW Cleaner is downloaded for the first time?
Hi Klaus,
I will inform the developper of ZHPCleaner that the soft have some weird behaviour. Do you want any help to restore some files ? ZHPCleaner has got a quarantine :)
One question to MalwareBytes before installing it: I have MS Security Essentials installed, won't there be a problem defending one another (and making the PC nearly unuseable) when both are active ? I experienced t...

Removing DocMgr would of course be fine !
lanconf.exe is checked, false positive :-)

Hi Xplode,
Thanks to you and the AdwCleaner team, I appreciate all your help.
I'll look out for the debug version and will test it out when it is available and report back to you.
Thanks again.
Hello,
Woops, I didn't remember your previous post. It's not a problem related to AdwCleaner, but one of the dll it uses. We'll try to compile this DLL without generation of SSE2 instructions by GCC.
I'll keep you up to date when we have a new debug version to see if that works.

Hi Xplode,
CPU-Z shows MMX, SSE
If you look back at my post, No 7 in this thread, I did ask if AdwCleaner supported non SSE2 processors. It was my initial hunch as everything else seemed OK.
If this is the case, please can you consider support for older SSE processors? There are quite a few us out here using old Celerons and Athlons.
