Just like it says, after I updated to 5.105, I can no longer scan. After pressing scan I get an error popup with the message, "AdwCleaner's database cannot be loaded." I have tried re-downloading the .exe, restarting my computer and turning firewall completely off. But I get this error every time.

Thanks, Xplode.  I have now downloaded and run the next version adwcleaner_5.105.exe, and it has found nothing.

Please download and run the latest AdwCleaner's version ( v5.104 ). It should disinfect infected DNSApi.dll files. There was a bug in v5.103 which caused AdwCleaner to detect but not disinfect these files.

Even if this .exe could result of some performance hit on some PC i don't think delete this registry will have good result for the OS.

After search again.. Its from shopperz who infect dnsapi.dll ( infected on safemode too)
