Can someone pls help me to recover one of the folder that has been deleted by ADWCleaner ? I am freaking out now since it is my important work folder.

Pls help me to recover the file.

Now, it's ok! I solved my pb, perhaps thank to AdvCleaner.

* First with AdvCleaner... no (visible) effect. I run it twice and the second time it told me everything was ok... except I always had my virus.

+ Then, I learnt about Chrome Cleanup tool. I run it! Same pb... it told me that it didn't see any threat! And, after that, my Chrome has been blocked... Impossible to run il!

--> Télécharge Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (de Farbar) sur ton Bureau.

Attention : tu dois prendre la version compatible avec ton système : 32 ou 64 bits.

32 ou 64 bits - Comment savoir ?

--> Lance FRST (Sous Windows Vista/7/8/10, clic droit sur FRST > Exécuter en tant qu'administrateur).

--> Coche la case Addition.txt.

--> Clique sur le bouton Analyser.

--> Une fois le scan termi...

Ok.

On va utiliser un second outil de diagnostic pour épauler ZHPDiag, en espérant repérer ce qui vous pose toujours problème :

1. Téléchargez FRST
2. Clic-droit sur le fichier -> "Exécuter en tant qu'Administrateur"
3. Cliquez sur le bouton "Scan"
4. Un fichier FRST.txt est créé, ainsi qu'un fichier Addition.txt.
5. Hébergez-les sur Up2share comme habituellement :)

Just installed AdwCleaner v5.007 and ran it for first time.

I'd appreciate advice on three points please:

Not sure about file restore function, but if you are desperate to recover files I have found this tool to be effective (I am not affiliated with them.) www.stellarinfo.com/partition-recovery-software.php

I just discovered that the Quarantine Manager did NOT return all the files that it said were returned. And all the files are gone from Quarantine Manager now. Not happy.
