@Rufus415 : Yes, this pop-up informs you that nothing has been found, so nothing will be shown in the logfile nor in the software's interface.

We should indeed hide the message asking to uncheck if the pop-up is shown.

Ah! :)  How can I delete the original quarantine files.  I no longer have access, and I restored via copy and paste then renamed the .vir extension via batch.  Now I no longer have access to the original quarantine directory to delete it.

You should use the quarantine manager instead. Please refer to the documentation to see how to use it.

I know this is very basic but so am I.

When I try to download AdwCleaner I get A pop up that says :

Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded.

Please help.

FP = False positive .. :-) I removed "Ap" from the database as it was a FP.

AdwCleaner found folder C:\Ap and removed the folder and everything underneath it.  It's a foldershare for one of our customer servers.  Not sure why it would be detected as malware?

1. Delfix a fait 4 choses :
   1. Réactiver l'UAC, c'est à dire le contrôle du mode administrateur. Petite explication rapide : Pour effectuer des modifications sur le système, toi ou un logiciel doit disposer des droits admninistrateur, si l'UAC n'est pas activé, il les as d'office, ce qui est dangereux. Il apparaît fort probable que votre système soit effectivement très limite en espace disque ou en mémoire vive disponible, mais ce n'est pas directement lié à AdwCleaner.

Si vous avez besoin d'aide pour faire du nettoyage, n'hésitez pas à demander en réponse.

j utilise windows 8.1. mon probleme est que adwC ne s execute pas et se met en e background. a chaque fois c est pareille. il ya aussi le probleme de telechargement, j ai eu beaucoup de peine pour le telecharger, a chaque fois il y a un message comme qu oi je n est pas assez de ressource.
