Re: BSOD tcpip.sys? at boot only

Hi Julie, thanks a lot. I add 1) screen shot of CMD tasks 2) complete log 3) complete CBS log with repair (filter by date: 2008/04/16, surely a BSOD at each boot may "damage further" other components, I did not run scandisk after each bsod). 1) https://postimg.cc/image/k18gauxl7/   2)  https://www5.zippyshare.com/v/vZ76jlav/file.html  3) https://www74.zippyshare.com/v/6D7nRNer/file.html

Re: AdwCleaner deletes acestream but it reappears after Windows start-up

Hi, there sheilaanderson,

Please download the free version of Ccleaner here https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner to your pc and run the program analyze (applications, registry) and run cleaner.  When you delete the program(s) there are remnants left behind of that program.  Ccleaner deletes the remnants.  Reply back here how you made out.

Hi there cumdacon,

At the command prompt(admin) type in SCAN /SCANNOW   notice there is a space after SCAN.  At the end of the scan please copy and paste the results in your next reply.  SCANNOW scans your computer for all issues and fixes them if the need be.

Hope this helps.

Warmest Regards,

Julie

Hope this helps.

Re: PUP's from online studies - harmless or not?

They are not serious but they are annoying!  Just be careful what you download and make sure to pay attention to what is checked marked that shouldn't be.  PUA's do not track you, etc and are not ad related.

Hope this helps.

Re: PUP's from online studies - harmless or not?

Hello Fleks,

I see you have a PUP issue(s).  Did you delete the PUP's with Adware Cleaner after you ran the scan?  I don't know where you are located but did you know this study website is in Germany?

PUA. (Potentially Unwanted Application) or PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program)  These are very annoying at best in that they cause pop-us, redirect your browser home page, and other behavior that...
