I asked AdwCleaner to delete it, and it was indeed deleted after rebooting and the report said it was deleted. I ran a second scan and AdwCleaner found not...

The folder does not appear after rebooting any longer. The problem seems to be fixed.

Hello,

After I installed then uninstalled Ace Stream and its Firefox plugin, I ran a scan on my PC with AdwCleaner and found the following entry to delete :

I asked AdwCleaner to delete it, and it was indeed deleted after rebooting and the report said it was deleted. I ran a second scan and AdwCleaner found nothing to deleted, so I thought the probl...

Re: False Positive? C:\ProgramData\mntemp

Although AdwCleaner detects mntemp as being a folder, it is actually an extensionless file. I don't see any other signs of SearchProtect on my PC. After the cleanup/reboot with AdwCleaner, the files are gone, but they are literally immediately recreated every time I launch Breakaway Audio Enhancer. I don't understand why SearchProtect would be linked to the launch of Breakaway. I really hope it...

SQLite3.dll

on AdwCleaner by ****

So recently I had a BSOD that forced my computer to reboot, and one of the first things I did after my computer recovered was start scanning for viruses.  Nothing came up but I ran into a strange error with ADWCleaner when I tried using it: it said that it couldn't load SQLite3.dll.  I clicked ok and ADWCleaner closed.  I tried running ADWCleaner again but didn't get the SQLite3.dll error and i...

Re: smartnewtab.com

Hi :)

I do a cleanup of the installed software frequently, there should be not to much unknown.

Most of the programs you listed are installed since a while and known to me (some are quite famous like Corel or Paragon), only DocMgr is quite questionable - it isn't listed in the installed programs, and I can find it listed in the start menu.

I ran cCleaner to see if there are invalid registry...
