downloaded the latest adw,  problem with a virus in the exe..  ramnit virus detected by ....  reason core security.. brrrr...  then downloaded

the exe on my external backup disk and ran the scan again...  same result ... as the virus was already in my system,  ran my recent backup.. virus gone

Résultat de FileAssassin : échec. Il ne trouve pas c:\windows\system32\drivers\mpckpt.sys, pourtant celui-ci est bien visible dans l'Explorateur.

J'avais bien vérifié précédemment que MPC ne se trouvait plus dans les processus actifs ni dans les services. En revérifiant, à nouveau et à mon grand étonnement, je retrouve MPCProtectService dans les services, mais il est arrêté.

I just d/l the adwcleaner step 1 with no issues and i notices there's a bunch more steps. Are they necessary? I only have Windows Defender that comes with windows 10. Obviously i wouldn't do steps that say optional or for apple when i have a hp but the other ones that say hitman pro for example. A small window popped up after the scan saying to enable detection of PUPs on adware...where do i do...

If your computer speed really slow downs in 4 days, that should not be an hardware issue.

• Download ZHPDiag from Nicolas on his website
• Then run it with administrator's rights (with right click)
• Then upload the log file on up2share (you will find it on your desktop, just drop the file on the upload zone)

This adware never stop. I think a lot of people have a simillar problem.

May be I must to reinstall firefox.

Tous les fichiers MPCCleaner ont disparu à l'exception des dossiers et sous-dossiers. 

Je suppose qu'il n'y a plus grand chose à faire à part un petit nettoyage manuel.
