Hello,
Which brings me to another topic: Where is it possible to DL older versions so I can recover this great utility?

Hi,
AdwCleaner is part of this website and we participate actively to its development. Therefor, we're able to redirect you to the right person (Xplode) in order to get a quick answer. :)
Regards.
I was referring to AdwCleaner, not to this website.
It's annoying that whenever there is a new version, if one chooses to get it, old version gets erased, it should at least be renamed as adwcleaner.bak in case downloading of newer version fails (or doesn't work in winxp anymore as it happen to be my case). So now I don't have either version.

I have it (adwcleaner_5.027.exe (or _5.030)) saved on disk by Download manager as part of my brawser and I discovered that I can “Open” it repeatedly through the “downloded files” list in the Download manager Menu
Same problem here, when I first had this problem, solution was to rename program to adwcleaner.exe, then it started failing again and solution was to put it on a short path (ie: C:\UT\adwcleaner.exe ), but last to versions refuse to start at all giving same application error as before: Instruction "0x004211de" references memory in "0x0204e000". Memory can't be "read".
Tried it in three differe...

I second that motion.......I was running the 5.028, and that was fantastic. Got the 5.029 and didn't get a chance to run a scan at all, before the 5.030 came along. Downloaded it and got the error message. Have not been able to acquire and get it to work. Continually getting error message.....any help would be welcome.
When I tried to run ADWcleaner on a Surface Pro 4 with Win10Pro, I got an error message saying it wasn't compatible. I tried compatibility mode and installed it with Win 8.1 compatibility. It ran OK, but the computer didn't reboot successfully and had to be forced to shut down and then restarted. Once done, ADWCleaner was nowhere to be found.
It there a problem with this device?
