first thxs so much for the upgrade to 7!

i notice that with 6.047 no obj found and with new 7 up to 260...

anyway i push the -clean- button and at re start no obj found.

but after turn off completely the pc and then after hours re-turn on the pc i re found always the 260 obj by yr tool..why..??

they are all reg keys as ie activex etcc...

i've win 10 home 64 creators update vers 1703

Version 6.047 finds nothing while version 7 finds 262 elements, mostly IE registry keys + one Firefox add-on.

Only new thing I installed recently is Adguard and it is set to work only with IE11. It is not running right now.

I guess it makes sense, since XP and Vista not supported officially by Microsoft, it would get exponentially more difficult to protect the platforms efficiently.

Latest version AdwCleaner 7.0.0.0 will not run on XP SP3 "Not a valid Win32 application".

EDIT:  OK so I have just read on Malwarebytes forum that XP and Vista are no longer supported, fair enough, but you may want to drop XP and Vista from the "Compatible with" list on this page? https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/

 Same stuation here as above with AdwCleaner 6.47 and XPsp3. database update from server fails.

i only would like to see again adwcleaner updated in maximum 15-20 days..

as it was BEFORE the infaust acquisition of malawarebyte..

but i really know that is a dream..

you can say i'm a dreamer..but i'm SURE that i'm not the ONLY one...

..bigger fish always eat smaller one..
