My boyfriend was using the computer last night and a box poped up stating that someone was logged in with remote wireless access. I would like to know what that means? Is there a way to find out if someone is hacking into your system? and how I can stop remote access? Please let me know if you can. Thanks

I figure by now you probably have figured it out, but I came across this when I was still looking for answers.  3 hours later I was finally free of that crap. 

I basically ran malwarebytes (I turned on search for rootkits under settings just to be sure), AdwCleaner, HitmanPro until nothing was found before finally removing google chrome completely.  And the real problem was that the url redire...

I am using windows 7 ultimate x64 too. thats quite an outdated page for the virus

Surely malware bytes premium or kaspersky internet security would have found the rest if my system was infected ?

but the thing is, my current system has never been infected so i'm quite confused about this result in AdwCleaner.

Would you recommend any other steps just to be sur...

Hi guys I have come across this registry key which AdwCleaner finds. This is not the first time it has found it.

I removed it with AdwCleaner in 2016 and today I scan and see it has appeared again, but what is it ??

I thought whatever it was, was gone for good but it seems not. Its now back.

So i've been trying to get rid of UC Guard for about 2-3 days now. Everytime i run AdwCleaner it detects it and when i go to clean it AdwCleaner just freezes and goes to "Not Responding". I tried to get UC Guard only to show up but everytime i try to get it there's always Regristry, and something else and UC Guard as service. I've tried Malwarebytes it doesn't detect it. Downloaded Malware Bytes Adw Cleaner today. Worked pretty good and got rid of consistant malware that was blocking my internet and even though a lot of threats were found (58) it got rid of it all. But there are no Adw Icons on my desk top and I can't find Adw Cleaner in my control panel.

Is it gone and do I have to download all over again now?

You're welcome, when following adware problems occour, I'll be surely using AdwCleaner :) It's quick, compact and finds the most common malicious files where an pc-consumer woulden't know where to search.
