oui sur celui ci a part la lenterur actuelle anormale, et les 2 detections dans le mme fichier, de 2 virus  differents, c'est surtout les rootkits ( un tres "gros" dans le sens long a scan " puis plein de peitts) quand c'etait encore macaffee l'antivirus qui m'ont alerté.

After restarting the computer, ADWCleaner is not there anymore so I had to reinstall the application. Then I tried Tools - Quanrantine Manager. I picked the file and clicked Restore but nothing happened. Does it mean it has been lost forever ?

I am freaking out now since it has been my work folder. Is there any other way to restore it ?

you should be able to recover deleted files thanks to the Quarantine. Here is how to use it :

• On the top menu, click on Tools > Quarantine manager;
• Every deleted elements are moved to the quarantine. They can be restored if necessary. Click on Restore will restore checked elements.

Brilliant. Can confirm Norton released adware from quarantine and icon appeared on my desktop this morning. Many thanks.

Can you find this adware on your Programs and Features? If you can see it there, you will be able to uninstall DNS Unlocker from your computer. And then you need to check if malicious browser extensions haven been added to your Chrome. You can get rid of it by following the removal guide in this post.

j'ai repondu hier soir et une nouvelle fois je ne vois pas ma reponse aujourd'hui.. pourtant je relis et j'envoie :s

bref, donc j'ai bien telecharge les mises a jour de vlc et java, et l'ordinateur n'a as l'air de faire de bizarreries, juste des coupures de reseau frequentes hier alors que le r511l connecte en mm temps ne reagissait pas. mais ca peut venir de n'importe quoi d'autre. ...

Thanks for your comments prston - I am keen to use AdWare and am assuming this is a false positive but as I cannot get it past Norton I need to report that this is the case and hope the situation can be resolved with Norton so I can benefit from using it.

I used the current version of AdwCleaner today without issue.  I run 3 layers of PAID active Anti-Virus protection:  Emsisoft Anti-Virus, Malwarebytes Pro, and Hitman Pro. 

In response to the false positive claim of AdwCleaner being a threat, I did a scan on the AdwCleaner.exe with all three AV programs.  AdwCleaner came back CLEAN.  Also, I have used it for years...and AdwCleaner catches the ...

Voici le rapport. entre temps, j'ai réussi à redémarrer normalement en décochant les services et le démararge sous msconfig mais en  recochant c'est reparti. L'ordi salllume directement en mode sans échec.

• Installez-le en laissant les options par défaut, une icône sera créée sur le bureau et Malwarebytes démarrera (décochez à l'installation "Activer l'essai gratuit de MBAM Premium").
