After some cleaning provided by Adware Cleaner, my internet connection failed while the WiFI and LAN driver still there. I tried cmd netsh winsock reset but still fail. I tried re-install WiFI and LAN and sens.dll (from windows installation) but no effect at all. How do I fix my internet connection error?

Hello,

You can restore the files and folders from the quarantine : Launch AdwCleaner -> Tools -> Quarantine manager.

Then, check the elements to restore and click on [Restore].

Pardon the possibly obvious question, but by "session" do you mean browser session or OS session?

After some tests, the key remains during the current OS session only.

@User547952 : this key does not belong to Mozilla Firefox only. Mozilla Firefox creates this key only for a limited time (the current session). However, we target the same key created by several malwares, which is not deleted when the current session is terminated.

It's a corner case, but we'll look deeper to see what we can do about that..

You should be able to restore all files directly from quarantine manager by clicking on "All" then "Restore", but if it fails, you can download this file : https://up2sha.re/file?f=EnioRsoB2X7T

Then open AdwCleaner's quarantine manager, click on "Load script", select the downloaded file then "Open".

Après avoir reproduit le scénario sur une autre machine, je confirme également que la clé vient bel et bien de Firefox. La clé est créée pendant l'éxécution de updater.exe.

Note: La clé est temporaire et est supprimée à la fermeture de session.
