So you tried this I presume:

In Services, look for "Avira.ServiceHost". If the status is blank or does not say "Running" Open the service and click "Start".

Some users seems to be experiencing this bug even after several answers from Avira.. (https://answers.avira.com/en/question/no-more-avira-icon-in-my-system-tray-34684/page-5).

Did you try to remove and then re-install Avira?

1. First, uninstall Avira;
2. Use CCleaner, available on the following link: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
   1. Start CCleaner (there should be a shortcut on your Desktop or where you downloaded it);
   2. Go in Options tab > Advanced, untick Only delete Windows temporary files older than 24 hours;

Basically I picked up a nasty piece of malware a while ago. I downloaded this to get rid of it. Yet every time I clicked on clean, to get rid of all that junk, the program says its not responding, then my entire pc freezes, prompting me to restart. I have disabled both my antivirus and firewall while running the program.

bonjour, mon antivirus a détecter une menace puis toute les éléments détecter par malwarebytes sont revenues.

Lorsque je lance le logiciel, j'ai une demande de windows qui me dit que cela provient d'une source inconnue, je répond OK, et puis plus rien...pas de réaction non plus de mon antivirus, donc voilà.. que faire ?

Oui merci cette version de test fonctionne à merveille.

Seulement mon antivirus 360 total security l a detectée comme un virus.

J ai donc desactivé l antivirus le temps de tester.

On va donc supprimer certains éléments avec ZHPFix, voici la marche à suivre :

• Rendez-vous sur la page de téléchargement de ZHPFix, puis cliquez sur le bouton bleu "Télécharger";
• Enregistrez le fichier sur votre bureau et lancez-le (par un clic-droit -> Exécuter en temps qu'administrateur);
