Re: Faux positifs ?

Bonjour,

Pouvez-vous me donner le rapport d'analyse d'AdwCleaner montrant ces détections?

Merci,

Re: Adwcleaner without SSE2

Hi,

Just a quick intel, the version described above won't be up-to-date in term of detections.

Regards.

Re: False positives?

I have a doubt, if I run the program while being connected to the internet, it does not give me any detections, but if I run it without an internet connection, it recalls 260 detections, the same ones that the author of the post points out.

Re: Effacement RFA (Registry First Aid)

Merci, je reviens vers vous rapidement pour laisser ou non la détection.

Re: Version 7 FPs (262 elements)

Hi just to report that this detection:

Re: Can I remove these folders/keys safely with adware cleaner?

Hello,

Yes, you can remove these elements.

What exactly does this mean, and is this a real threat?

Yes, those elements have been detected with the heuristics detections (hence the family name).

Re: PUP.Legacy.Optional - 3 Threats Identified

Hello,

It's not a browser hijack, it's the search-engine setting that AdwCleaner set after removing a malicious one. This will be back to google.com by default, with a dropdown in the Options UI to choose between seevral search engines.

Just to be sure, you say that Duckduckgo has been set even if you didn't get any Chrome or Firefox detections?
