@cocochepeau Hi, As, after AdwCleaner requested to restart the computer after scan and clean, I was not able to log in anymore into the standard account from where I ran AdwCleaner, Therefore I didn't get the report, but I guess it should still be somewhere on my computer. I ran again AdwCleaner but with starting the scan, just to see if it sees the report, but the Report button is grayed out. I downloaded several versions of AdwCleaner, so I may not ran the same version. I don't know if that matters. On the other hand, if I press uninstall (without actually starting the uninstall) I see the files from the quarantine, but not the changes made to the registry. I'm trying to uninstall your program. I'm assuming it's a single use program, that is download it when you need it, then, delete it. I'm afraid I don't understand your above term "using the 'mode uninstall.'
I see Adware in my downloads file, but there's no uninstaller. It's not listed in "Programs & Features," so I can't uninstall from there.
I'm trying to get numerous SearchScopes entries OUT of my registry. While I successfully downloaded & ran Adware from Bleeping Computer this morning, when I tried to download from your site, Sonar blocked it. I don't know what Sonar is, so I figure I'd better uninstall, clean out Adware, and do some reading before I try again.
Is the "mode uninstall" a new term/function? Can someone help me understand,please? Appreciativley...
My adwcleaner failed to remove Vosteran Search which pops up 3 tabs for every one chrome tab. I haven't downloaded any private or personal files on this new computer.....only windows and McAfee updates have been entered. McAfee sent me to adwcleaner. Interesting but also not successful. Help.
I had a computer that was infected with a browser hijacking called gamersinfo.org but Adwcleaner didn't pick it up. Maybe you haven't added it to the database so would really appriciate if you did.
Successfully removed "www.mystartsearch.com" from Windows 8.1 x64 Notebook.
After I have tried all to me known procedures including Malwarebyte, Nod32 and other antivirus programs this was the only program that succeeded to remove adaware/virus "www.mystartsearch.com" from my notebook.

I downloaded Adwcleaner today from CNET
I got a warning it was out of date, and was directed to a link for the current version
I downloaded the new Adwcleaner and when I tried installing it,
"Avast Antivirus" gave me this warning:

my adw cleaner said it was out of date so i downloaded a newer version but problems occurred and my anti virus blocked it as it was seen as a threat to my computer i was really impressed with this tool now i am unable to use it hope you can give me some feedback as how i can remedy this problem so i may go on using your product
just like to say thank you your cleaner sorted my p.c out i had been plagued with ads and i couldn't get rid of them so after watching a clip on you tube i came straight to your website and downloaded your cleaner.I couldn't believe it worked and it was so simple to use now i'm ad free and everything is running fine now
Thanks a lot for this cleaner. i downloaded this one and junk removal tool and now there are no pop ups from ad coiup or whatever it was called, among others.
