Well, in that case you can uninstall it by manually removing the C:\AdwCleaner folder (and all its content).
And then, just remove the AdwCleaner executable.
That's it.
AC 7.0.8.0 downloaded here and from the MB link above compare exactly. The known problem described above occurs with all versions of AC 7.0.x specfically on (at least) Dell laptops running Win 7. Guess we're still hoping for AC 7.1.x, said to be in the works.

Adwcleaner v7.0.8.0 uninstall does not work. Says it will delete quarantine files. When click YES the program exits but DOES NOT uninstall.
maybe this project is -end of life-..??

Yes, AdwCleaner finally installed and ran normally. I removed the Auslogics stuff so it won't zap it. I hope version 7.0.9.0 and above keeps working!
