I agree, not sure why this is only affecting edge. Internet Explorer and Chrome still work fine. I have a generic admin account on the PC that has the same issue and I am able to send you this via IE. Since I dont use this computer I dont know if this has been an issue prior to the suspicious activity ofr if it is new.

I have 2 Dell laptops running windows 10 that keep blue-screening when running adwcleaner's "Cleaning" step, I enabled the debug option, the last process it lists before the log ends is dasHost.exe which is in windows\system32 , file size 95232 bytes , description: Device Association Framework Provider Host .

Well, bad news.

As ZHPCleaner, ZHPDiag, ADWCleaner and MBAM don't find from where comes thoses pop-ups, we will have to remove it manually !

To do that, we will reset all the preferencies of Internet Explorer, and I can give you better explanation that what is explained on this microsoft description. With choising to Delete personal settings (step 5 of the tutorial).

Most of the programs you listed are installed since a while and known to me (some are quite famous like Corel or Paragon), only DocMgr is quite questionable - it isn't listed in the installed programs, and I can find it listed in the start menu.

Ok, there is just some minor infections and a lot of softwares that I don't know, then I will have to make some research to find if some can be dangerous.

But before we do a script with ZHPFix, we are going to clean a little that computer :

• Removing unuse or unknow softwares :
  • Please go to the Windows Tool to uninstall software (by configuration pannel > uninstall softwares)

Voici quelques conseils finaux :)

1. Pour gagner un peu d'espace en supprimant des fichiers inutiles :

• Télécharge et installe CCleaner --> lance le --> clique sur Nettoyeur --> Analyse --> Lancer le nettoyage --> OK.
• Ensuite, clique sur "Options" --> "Surveillance" --> décoche toutes les cases liées à la surveillance.

Parfait, adwcleaner à bien fait son boulot. On va utiliser ZHPFix, un logiciel de Nicolas Coolman, afin de supprimer quelques éléments restants :

• Rends toi sur la page de téléchargement de ZHPFix, puis clique sur le bouton bleu "Nicolas Coolman - Télécharger".
• Enregistre le fichier où tu veux et lance le (fais le par un clic-droit -> Exécuter en temps qu'administrateur).
• Laisse ...

Comme prévu, AdwCleaner a detecté les fichiers infectés :

Fichier infecté : C:\WINDOWS\Sysnative\dnsapi.dll
Fichier infecté : C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\dnsapi.dll

On va donc lui demander de les réparer :

• Relance AdwCleaner.
• Clique sur Scanner puis patiente le temps du scan.
• Une fois le scan terminé, clique sur Nettoyer.
• Une fois la suppression terminée, un message de prévention va s'afficher...
