Hi,

Please run AdwCleaner in debug mode.

Open AdwCleaner and click Tools > Options and place a check in the box next to Debug Logs
Run another scan/clean.
Then, share the file: C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner_Debug.log

AdwCleaner 7.0.6.0 has stopped working

I have tried several times to run AdwCleaner 7.0.6.0 on my laptop but it continues to stop during Heuristic analysis while doing a scan and windows closes the program. I am running a Windows 10 Home (1709) OS on a Dell Inspiron laptop. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

I found this thread while looking for answer to my own pup issues and signed up to say thanks. What worked for me was uninstalling Chrome and then running Malwarebytes Adwcleaner. Ran it a second time and with Chrome uninstalled a got a clean scan this time. Before that it would identify Pup.Legacy.Optional. Empty TOS box

Not a huge deal, I suppose, but when I open AdwCleaner 7.0.6.0 I get an empty terms of service window with "I Agree" and "I Disagree" buttons. Is it just a small bug? I use Windows 7 32x.

What do you mean by "to activate the program"? Do you simply want to run AdwCleaner? If so, you just need to run the downloaded executable.

Depuis une quinzaine de jours impossible d'utiliser AdwCleaner qui cesse de fonctionner dès qu'il entame l'analyse heuristique. Je pensais que ce problème allait disparaître avec la dernière version (7.0.6.0 ) mais il persiste (message : AdwCleaner a cessé de fonctionner). Est-ce lié à la dernière mise à jour de windows 10 ou de Firefox ?
