We're dealing with PHP code for most of ToolsLib services, which means that despite the efforts in writing a secure code we still have to regularly mitigate regular CVE found in PHP components. While we have been very reactive to apply fixes, it's better if we can take pro-active measures.
Snuffleupagus has proved to be a very valuable tool so far. Its integration is a major improvement for the security of all the services that we provide, and we deeply care to keep our data safe, especially the one of our users who trust us millions times each month.
The new certificate for https://toolslib.net is now online. It is valid from 15/04/2016 to 11/05/2018. We've also published several improvement regarding TLS support on ToolsLib.
2016 has seen a lot of underlying changes on ToolsLib. Most of them were improvements to the current services, but we've also prepared the path towards all the new features that will appear in 2017.

Following Malwarebytes initative to be more agressive on PUP (potentially unwanted programs) , it feels natural for AdwCleaner to associates with Malwarebytes in order to reach this goal and actively fight these unwanted software.
AdwCleaner v6.021 has been published a few minutes ago. With the development of the CLI release in parallel, this release is considered as a maintenance release, with mostly bugfixes, small detections improvements and new translations. Also, we are making good progresses on the CLI release, if you're interested see more at the bottom of this article !
