xplode, thanks for chiming in, and thanks for adwcleaner.. build 5.32 works fine on my windows xpsp3 computer..

it has been hit-and-miss with adwcleaner, over the past several months.. one build will work with win xp and the next one won't..back and forth..

in my opinion, adwcleaner should not be set, by default, to restore the default winsock settings (or anything else).. i imagine that caus...

I just spent the past 2 days trying to rid myself of a google chrome extension from hell, that AdwCleaner would delete & then it would miraculously reappear.   I finally stumbled upon a future/present? genius who realized that along with the amazing 35,000 bookmarks I have...the wonderful google servers will also sync malware...or remnants of deleted extensions. Please (please!) help save other...

Sorry, I no longer have access to that computer with XP. All three my computer (Win7 64) all versions of AdwCleaner working fine.

These are the results of the scan, carried out with the latest version, the 5.032, although in fact I already appeared in previous versions of AdwCleaner. The problem is this, when I click the button disinfection, obviously those registry entries are deleted, but the Comodo (CIS), does not want to know more of work, ...

bonjour, comment peut-on forcer la destination du telechargement? j'ai trouve ADw Cleaner dans mon disque dur mais c'est un fichier texte, ça y est je suis arrivee a installer ADwCleaner mais ask est toujours bien present. J'ai voulu  telecharger SpyHunter mais la reponse est que "le client ne dispose pas d'un privilege necessaire" et quel que soit ce que je veux telecharger.

Running XP SP3. downloaded 5.032 to D:\Downloads and created a desktop shortcut and ran it from desktop shortcut, it found a SweetIM entry in the registry. Ran cleaning and got a BSOD, PC ran scandisk and everything was OK. PC rebooted and showed log for deleted registry entry. This BSOD also happened on previous versions.

Ran it from D:\Downloads it found nothing and completed fine.

Je suis sur que les adminstrateurs qui s'investissent à fond pour proposer un service de qualité, apprécieront un peu d'aide pour payer l'hébergement.

Voilà, j'ai suivi tes conseils en supprimant les derniers restes des outils utilisés. J'ai également désactivé Nero BackItUp Scheduler dans le Gestionnaire des tâches.

J'ai transmis tes recommandations de navigation à l'utilisatrice du PC ;)

Il me reste maintenant à te remercier pour toute l'aide que tu m'as apportée dans la désinfection et la désinstallation de MPCCleaner.
