After I installed then uninstalled Ace Stream and its Firefox plugin, I ran a scan on my PC with AdwCleaner and found the following entry to delete :

C:/Users/MyName/AppData/Roaming/.acestream

I asked AdwCleaner to delete it, and it was indeed deleted after rebooting and the report said it was deleted. I ran a second scan and AdwCleaner found nothing to deleted, so I thought the probl...

Le rapport ZHPDiag date d'il y a 6 jours, et ne présente pas à premier abord d'explication au problème que tu rencontres.

Peux-tu m'en dire plus sur ce problème :

• Que se passe-t-il quand tu essaies d'ouvrir l'explorer ? Il y a-t-il un message d'erreur ?
• Qu'appel tu blocage ?
• Tu parles également de certaines applications qui sont bloqués. Lesquelles ? Peux-tu me dire si c'est le ca...

You are right, we could have invest about what was creating those pop-ups. In fact a search on the registry with the url of the pop-ups could have worked since a great part of the IE configuration is set under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer.

We will do that next time !

Depuis la v5.111, AdwCleaner n'effectue plus de recherche dans le fichier de préférences de Chrome. A la place, une option "Réinitialiser les préférences Chrome" est disponible et celle-ci effectue le nettoyage des préférences.

L'option a été ajoutée car la précédente méthode de nettoyage ne fonctionnait pas correctement.

I agree, not sure why this is only affecting edge. Internet Explorer and Chrome still work fine. I have a generic admin account on the PC that has the same issue and I am able to send you this via IE. Since I dont use this computer I dont know if this has been an issue prior to the suspicious activity ofr if it is new.

I have 2 Dell laptops running windows 10 that keep blue-screening when running adwcleaner's "Cleaning" step, I enabled the debug option, the last process it lists before the log ends is dasHost.exe which is in windows\system32 , file size 95232 bytes , description: Device Association Framework Provider Host .

I won't be able to check back until monday, but if you guys need any more information...
