I've seen more complaints about the uninstaller, but I guess it's just a bug. It seems to have a solid self-defense against malware, so it's hard to uninstall it using external tools, that's it.

MPC Cleaner has been classified as a PUP since its behaviour is discutable (for instance here - in French only..).

Since they have updated their software to fix some issues, we might reconsider the detection.

J'avais pas vu ton PS, si adwcleaner ne trouve plus rien, et que ZHPFix dit avoir son boulot, on est bon pour terminer :

1. Pour gagner un peu d'espace en supprimant des fichiers inutiles :

• Télécharge et installe CCleaner --> lance le --> clique sur Nettoyeur --> Analyse --> Lancer le nettoyage --> OK.
• Ensuite, clique sur "Options" --> "Surveillance" --> décoche toutes les cases liées à la su...

it found ramnit b y avira antivirus and ESET Nod... so 3 anti virus programs found that virus...  so deleted adwcleaner 5.03 and wont run it till later...it could be a false positive but seeing the result better be safe than sorry...  my inkling is that it is a fale positive    anyhow will look at it later and run herdprotect as you regularly update adw...   thanks and regards

Windows update me donne un code d'erreur 0X80244022. J'ai passé l'outil Fix it de Microsoft qui me donne ce message: l'enregistrement de service est manquant ou endommagé. quoi faire pour réparer cette erreur. Merci
