Ah, ok nevermind. I tried it the other day and it was still showing. Now, it does not. I figure the program probably checks online database as it runs/scans and I hadn't before. :)
You mean in new version of the program? I don't see anything newer than what I was using 6.010, anywhere. Cool, though. Thank you.
Here are some things to go by, tailored to you and leaving out more complicated things like NoScript:
1) Use Firefox as much as possible and not Internet Explorer, unless you really absolutely must.
2) Install these add-ons for Firefox: BetterPrivacy, Disconnect, Https Everywhere, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin

Ok.
So, to remove UCGuard, can you try this:
Hello,
Great ! So can you share me the file C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[Cxx].txt ?
We'll remove UCGuard then.
Thanks,
Hello,
Ok.
- So please launch AdwCleaner.
- Do a scan.
- Then, in the "Services" tab, please unselect "UCGuard".
- Click on "Clean", the computer will reboot.
Finally, please share the file C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[Cxx].txt (where xx is the highest number you have).
Best regards,

Thanks,
Hello,
Ok.
Finally, please share the file C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[Cxx].txt (where xx is the highest number you have).
Best regards,
Every day, Windows Defender is detecting at least one Trojan on my PC.
MBAM is reporting that a copy of Windows' shortcut to the Messenger app in my Startup folder is a Trojan.Agent threat. While it is possible that the recent attack has infected this shortcut, MBAM doesn't report any threat when I rename the shortcut or scan a copy of the same shortcut in a different location.
Is this a bug...
