Can you run AdwCleaner again and check "Enable debug mode" in "Option" menu. After that, just press "Scan" , you will still see this error message so just press ok. 

Then go to C:\AdwCleaner and post the content of the file called AdwCleaner_dbg_xxxxx.log

Moreover, can you tell me what is written just above the progress bar when this error message occurs ?

Voici la situation : après quelques minutes mon vista bloque, le pointeur se fige, je deviens blême.J'ai passé adwcleaner, zhp cleaner, zhp diag, malware antimaware et d'autres choses avant. J'ai retauré, relancé, essayé rtrui.exe et divers. Ca marche bien en mode sans échec, mais bon...

Qui aurait une idée pour un néophyte bien embêté ? Je suis sous windows vista pro, dell latitude ...

Do you mean that there is a problem with my windows OS or is it the program itself that is not functioning correctly?

Normally, ADWCleaner is able to remove adware even on 64-bits computers.

In fact I suspect that if the adware is not remove, it is because ADWCleaner don't know him yet, but if it is the case I will warn it's developper.

To be sure, I need the ADWCleaner log, you will find him in :

AdwCleaner doesn't cleaner file and to quarantine file,  because it is not removed - it is very bad.

My PC Intel(R) Cote(TM) i7-4700HQ CPU @2.40GHz  2.40 GHZ

Processor Memory 16,0 GB.

System Windows :  64 -bit operation of system.

I have been using Adwcleaner for quite some time and had always done the job well. But recently since the version 5.009 have noticed that in middle of scanning it suddenly stops and shows an error code as shown by the image. After pressing ok the program stops too and the same happens after restarting it. I am now using the latest version but the same is happening.

Merci pour les fichiers de préférences, il vont servir à améliorer les détections de notre côté. Je me suis permis d'éditer les liens permettant d'accéder aux fichiers puisqu'ils contiennent ici certaines infos personnelles (notamment les sites visités).

Mais le problème persiste toujours au pire je vais essayer de désinstaller chrome et le réinstaller :x

Sorry for the delay.

1. Please download CCleaner,
2. Go in Options tab > Advanced, untick Only delete Windows temporary files older than 24 hours.
3. Then in Options  tab > Surveillance, untick the both boxes.
4. In the Clean tab, click on "Clean".
5. When the cleaning is done, go in the "Registry" tab, click on "Find errors" and then "Fix".

Then, re-launch AdwCleaner, update it to v5.014 and mak...
