Currently AdwCleaner deletes only Winsock2 orphan entries ( the ones that points to a files that has been deleted ). It also does a "netsh winsock reset" but I don't think this last command can break the internet connection.
Do you have AdwCleaner's cleaning logfile ? Can you post it here ?

File F...Hi, I have used Adwcleaner to get rid of some ads on my computer. After the restart, my computer couldn't connect to Wi-Fi, open control panel and numerous other things. I'm not sure if it has deleted some critical system files or something.

- tried to do as error message say deleted al the versions I found in my machine
- tried to run again I always get the same error

Its is ok since i have waited long for the solution. Just wondering, i ever try to find the registry of hao123 and deleted it, at first it was on both firefox and chrome, then after my effort only manage to clear chrome one.
