Is it possible to tell if removed files (one folder, one registry item) were harmful

Specifically is it possible to tell by what is in my quarantine whether the items found by adwcleaner were using is keystroke logging?  I'm trying to figure out if I need to go and change all of my passwords.

Removed items were:

Folder on desktop (I recognize the items inside this folder and they are all legit).

Registry key:   HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\AppID\BHO.DLL

Thanks very much.

Re: Translate to Azerbaijani

Hello,

Thank you for your help!

To help for the translation, you'll need POEdit configured as described here: https://toolslib.net/forum/viewthread/7487-how-adwcleaner-translation/

I'm sending you the corresponding .po file by email.

Thank you again!

Ah, ok nevermind. I tried it the other day and it was still showing. Now, it does not. I figure the program probably checks online database as it runs/scans and I hadn't before. :)

Re: ADWCleaner - 2 questions

Thanks for the reply.

Actually, I logicaly figured out to go into Chrome settings -> Search engines and delete Ask.com and Aol.com.

I'm kind of surprised that ADC wasn't able to do that.

Thanks for fixing the remote session disconnect in 6.0.10.

Répertoire de fonctionnement...

Bonjour,

Cordialement,

1st time user, Should I delete the folowing windows files?

Before I just hit "clean" I figured I would check to see what I was removing. After reviewing I found some windows registry files. Does anyone know wheather or not I should let the program remove these?

My gut says just delete but i've learned before it's better to be safe than sorry.

Help I need to gain control of my home network and devices again

I started using F12 developer tools to look at the webpages and their sources. I noticed that they all were not t...
