How do I know what I want to keep? For example, "HKCU\Software\One System Care sounds like something important. Do I need to delete these things if I want to clear my PC of malware?

Version 5.016 and above are reporting as suspicuious the following activex registry entries created by Spyware blaster.
So Adwcleaner is removing the protection provided by Spyware blaster!
ie a few of the 170 keys found.

Les manipulations sont à effectuer une fois le nettoyage effectué avec AdwCleaner.
Il y a déjà des logiciels inutiles/non à jour à désinstaller via Ajout/Suppression de Programmes :
