the current version (adwcleaner_22.214.171.124.exe) will not run on windows 10 64 bit. A user account control message in a window states it has been blocked by an administrator. All installs seem to be blocked.
I have a ' your computer is blocked' error # sl9dw61' message ---how do i remove it please ?
Apologies a reboot which took a lot longer than usual appears to have unblocked adwcleaner. Perhaps Windows 10 had not fully cleared its update process previously. Adwcleaner is now working as it should.
Pourquoi ADWCleaner veut-il supprimer les extensions chrome SoundHound Downloader Free 0.0.61 et ScriptBlock 1.3 ?
not work for antiadsblocker malware,
Need this in a .zip or .7z format as .exe's are blocked in many places.
False positives: Chrome AdBlocker Plus and Click 'n Clean plugins

I wonder if there's more distinct Changelog about what got fixed, specially with false positives!
Previous version crippled me with Chrome where it tought that the ScriptBlock addon was a threat.
Thank you for this new release.
Unfortunately, some of the false positives I've listed a while back are still being flagged:
Simple Adblock (which is now Adblock Plus for IE)
Legitimate proxy server settings
Why have you removed the option to DisableAskProtection, DisableBrowsersProtection, DisableProxyProtection....?
@Yotony: For example, Norton thinks that Steam is a virus: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=262855.0
I'd recommend switching to an antivirus that isn't complete shit (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/computers/norton.html), like avast!: https://www.avast.com/
