I got that too, I noticed i always got wrong Chcksums from the author's site.

I tried with different browser to no avail, then tried and made it from Filehippo with right checksum.

Now running it, it told me it's an old version and I should download the newer one, though everything seems right as above and in "about" info

In hopes of making my two computers as safe as can be I went ahead and removed the various files that AdwCleaner detected in a scan. Can you please make a working winXP version, or at least leave last working version easily accesible?

There are a lot of customers who still use XP specially in the third world where upgrades are not so cheap, and they refuse to update whats working.

Yep, all fixed - thanks very much.  SpywareBlaster (SWB) updates its data base about every two weeks.  Can you tell me if the fix was such that it will no longer generally report SWBs preventative measures?  I fully accept that the odd false positive can happen but the quantity had become very high of late.
