• Download FRST
• Right-click on the file -> "Execute as Administrator"
• Click on the "Scan" button
• The logfile is saved as FRST.txt , and additional informations are in Addition.txt.
• Please host them on Up2Share and share the generated link.

Ok. We'll need to remove the conflicting file:

First, we'll remove AdwCleaner:

• Download DelFix from Xplode on your desktop;
• Launch it with administrator rights;
• Select all the option except the one proposing to save the registry;
• Then click on the "Execute" button;
• When everything is finish, the software will close itself;
• Then a report appear on the notepad, please copy paste it...

Thanks for the feedback. It's supported for the coming CLI release, but the current GUI version only supports the system root and the current directory as fallback.

Hello, I use AdwCleaner a lot. I was wondering if you could implement a way to choose another installation directory from C:\AdwCleaner to something like C:\Program Files (x86)\AdwCleaner or C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\AdwCleaner? I would greatly appreciate this feature.

Yes, there is a quarantine in which is copied each removed element.

Can you share the logfiles ? I find quite odd that AdwCleaner has removed those elements, and I'd like to check. The logfile is usually located in C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[Cxx].txt.

I just ran the latest version of Ad-Aware. It found 18 items to remove. I clicked OK. Restarted the laptop (HP Envy, 16GB RAM, 240GB SSD, 4GB VRAM). On bootup I found that Mailwasher icon was not in the Task bar, in fact it was not running. Then I found that Mailbird, my e-mail program wasn't running. ran a registry cleaner to clean up some dead software links etc.  this seemed to remove that registry entry that was throwing off adwcleaner.  reran adwcleaner and there are now no threats picked up.

  Updated to 6.020 and get the sqlite3.dll error when clicking the scan button. I have uninstalled from the program and reinstalled numerous times with the same error. Any suggestions?
