Thank you for the response.

The problem is that AdwCleaner gives this result any kind of information.Iin addition to that, in such a long list checked by AdwCleaner, it is very hard to find GeekBuddy. GeekBuddy is definitely a different program listed by AdwCleaner in terms of its purpose.

Maybe your users can uncheck the removal of geekbuddy before cleaning, If they are sure it was installed for a legitimate program and not bundled with other software as mentioned in the article

All theses entries are about : toolbars, extensions and potentially unwanted programs.

You can remove them all by launching again AdwCleaner and choosing the cleaning button.

Can you then post here the cleanning report ?

Adwcleaner - FF extension false positives?

Howdy, I sent the author of bloody vikings your way a while back. I'm here today because two extensions I regularly use are being detected by adwcleaner.

you should be able to recover deleted files thanks to the Quarantine. Here is how to use it :

  • On the top menu, click on Tools > Quarantine manager;
  • Every deleted elements are moved to the quarantine. They can be restored if necessary. Click on Restore will restore checked elements.

Can you find this adware on your Programs and Features? If you can see it there, you will be able to uninstall DNS Unlocker from your computer. And then you need to check if malicious browser extensions haven been added to your Chrome. You can get rid of it by following the removal guide in this post.
