Pouvez-vous retenter toute la manipulation décrite, mais cette fois-ci en mode Debug ? Ceci devrait nous aider à identifier le problème rencontré. Voici la marche à suivre:

• Lancez AdwCleaner;
• Cliquez sur "Outils" puis "Options" dans le menu en haut;
• Positionnez la case à cocher sur "Debug" dans l'encart "Mode";
• Lancez une analyse / nettoyage jusqu'à ce que le problème que vous ave...

Yes, the two folders are in place but many of the files and folders have an unknown ownership wich cannot be altered - it leads to 'access denied'

AdwCleaner does a good job! But now we stepped into a problem. An urgently needed folder was deleted. In quarantine-manager nothing is listed to recover in files (it worked for registry-keys).  We found the folder on our System where it was before but with very special rights. So we are not in the position to recover the folders and files and bring them up to work.

We would be happy to get tip...

Thanks for the support alowe56.  Reimage has been playing by strict guidlines for just over 1 year now.  I am very confident in how the operation is run today.
