Hello ive started using some online sites for studys the last days - file some stuff and get money/points etc BUT everytime i do a survey on "https://www.meinungsstudie.de/" it loads the sites on a url named "surveymyopinion" So if i run adwcleaner (current version) after doing that i get 4-8 PUP'S which all have entries verifying it is from "surveymyopinion" in some folders. Hi all. AdwCleaner deleted one of my files with pictures that took over hours to make and I already tried to restore the file by using the quarantine manager, but the manager isn't showing any files in it. However, going into the AdwCleaner, I can find the folder of quarantined items there. Can I just move that file back to my desktop since it's not showing in the quarantine manager?

This still leaves windows thinking it is installed and eventually leads to trouble in add/remove programs and leftover registry entries. What is needed in an uninstall/cleanup program from Malwarebytes.
Here is the one from the session that ran right after it installed correctly. AdwCleaner doesn't seem to like Wise and Auslogics applications; it found them and quarantined them, which is fine. Now, the issue with AdwCleaner not installing was occuring before Wise or Auslogics apps were installed.
