After restarting the computer, ADWCleaner is not there anymore so I had to reinstall the application.

Is that occurred when you launched the Cleaning process ?

Did you find your missing work folder on the quarantine manager ? Can you tell me its name and where it was located ?

Also, could you upload the quarantine.log file stored into C:\AdwC...

After restarting the computer, ADWCleaner is not there anymore so I had to reinstall the application. Then I tried Tools - Quanrantine Manager. I picked the file and clicked Restore but nothing happened. Does it mean it has been lost forever ?

I am freaking out now since it has been my work folder. Is there any other way to restore it ?

Pouvez-vous faire une analyse avec RogueKiller pour vérifier un élément ?

• Téléchargez RogueKiller ici
• Débranchez l'ordinateur du réseau
• Exécutez le fichier téléchargé "setup.exe" en tant qu'Administrateur (clic-droit sur le fichier -> Exécuter en tant qu'Administrateur"
• Le pre-scan va se dérouler, patientez.
• Cliquez ensuite ...

you should be able to recover deleted files thanks to the Quarantine. Here is how to use it :

• On the top menu, click on Tools > Quarantine manager;
• Every deleted elements are moved to the quarantine. They can be restored if necessary. Click on Restore will restore checked elements.

Je n'aurais peut-êre pas dû me fier à Sophia et ne pas suivre ses instructions... Je n'ai plus deux canaux IDE mais un canal IDE et un ATA channel 0ans les contrôleurs IDE ATA/ATAPI.

Merci pour votre message J'ai eu un peu de mal à comprendre mais les deux canaux IDE figurent en mode ultra DMA 2, les pilotes sont à jour. Quant à installer le disque dur, je suis trop méfiant pour me lancer dans une telle opération, ma compétence est très faible.
